ZIMMER NUCLEAR EOWER STATION - UNIT 1 10CFR50.55(e), ITEM M-93, INPROPERLY SUPERVISED FIRE DETECTION CIRCUITS W.O. 57300, JOB E-5590, FILE NO. 956C, M-93 This letter constitutes a final report on the subject condition initially reported to the Commission on August 23, 1983. Our last response, LOZ-83-0158, was submitted September 22, 1983.

Although a lack of supervision does not make the Fire Detection System inoperable, the inability to detect a fault in the Fire Detection System is an unacceptable condition. Final analysis and evaluation concludes that the condition constitutes a reportable deficiency.

We trust the above will be found acceptable as an final report under 10CFR50.55 (e) .
