The purpose of this letter is to provide the NRC/EQB with the information packages identified in MP&L's letter of April 19, 1982 (AECM-82/173) and hand delivered to the NRC/EQB during MP&L's and NRC/EQB's meeting on Wednesday, April 21, 1982, to discuss MP&L's Justification for Interim Operation for equipment not qualified to the SQRT criteria.

E22-S002/S003/S004 are qualified. E22-S001 is not.

1) Seismic and Hydrodynamic Loads Requalification Certification, dated April 20, 1982

2) Excerpts (2) from initial Seismic Qualification Re-evaluation Package, dated March 27, 1981

3) Electroswitch Corporation Engineering Test Report No. 2392-10

4) Electroswitch Corporation Engineering Test Report No. 1981-2 All switches identified in MP&L's letter of April 5, 1982 (AECM-82/128) are qualified to the SQRT criteria.
