, s JOSEPli M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PIANT UNIT 1 NARRATIVE SLM1ARY OF OPERATIONS February, 1988 During the month of February, there were no unit shutdowns or significant power reductions.

The following nnjor safety-related unintenance was performed in the month of February:

1. Inspected and repaired the reactor trip breakers and by-pass breakers per IEB 88-01.
2. Performed air pressure tests on the containment auxiliary and personnel hatches.
3. Began the overhaul of the 1C service water pump.
4. Performed miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance on the diesel generators.

FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT ADDENIRI OONCERNING REVISIONS 3 AND 4 'IO TIIE OFFSITE DOSE CAlfUIATION F1ANUAL Revision 3 to the Offsite Dose Calculation thulual (ODCM) was approved by the IORC on August 7,1987 and Revision 4 '.es approved on September 17, 1987. It was determined by the PORC that these changes will not reduce the accuracy or reliability of dose calculations or setpoint determinations. These changes were not submitted previously due to administrative oversight.

Revision 3 to the ODCM upiated the necessary tables to reflect the 1987 12uxi Use Census data. 'Ihe other changes corrected typographical errors.

Revision 4 to the ODQ1 deleted an indicator milk animal and an indicator location because that animal has been relocated outside the ten mile area.

'Ihis revision also changed the control milk animal and control location because it in close proximity to the past control location.

The OD01 applies to both Unit 1 and Unit 2 at Farley Nuclear Plant.
