Dear Mr. Denton:

In the referenc' d e letter you requested that Georgia Power Company (GPC) provide an analysis to estimate the chlorine concentration at the VEGP control l building air intake, due to the rupture of a one-ton chlorine cylinder, using three atmospheric dispersion models and related equations identified by your staff. The attached evaluation is provided in response to that request.  ;

Based on our evaluation of the three models, we have concluded that the Regulatory Guide 1.95 model is appropriate for use in evaluating the VEGP control room habitability. Consequently, chlorine concentrations predicted by this model for 5 percentile dispersion conditions will be used in a subsequent evaluation of chlorine concentrations that could occur inside the VEGP ontrol room. The results of this control room habitability evaluation will be ,
