enclosed documents supersede portions of the original ISI program previously submitted. A summary of the changes resulting from Revision 3 ,
is also enclossd. Ten copies of this submittal are being provided herein for your ccnvenience.
Revision 3 to the VEGP-2 ISI Program includes the withdrawal of Relief Requests RR-45, 47, 48 and 54. We have re-evaluated the need for each of the subject relief requests and have determined that relief is not required. Accordingly, GPC wishes to withdraw Relief Requests RR-45,.47, 48 and 54 for reasons similar to those discussed in GPC letter MSV-00169 which concerned similar relief requests for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 1 (VEGF-1). Relief Request RR-54 is being conditionally withdrawn. In addition to the withdrawal of the aforementioned relief ,
requests, Relief Request RR-32 has been revised to address the surface examination of two additional reinforcing plate-to-vessel welds not previously addressed in the Residual Heat Removal System (RHR) heat exchangers and to better depict the VEGP-2 RHR heat exchangers nozzle and vessel shell configuration. As a result of the changes to Relief Request RR-32, the VEGP-1 and VEGP-2 relief requests by that number are now virtually identical. .
