On 11ay 2 2, 1975 the Unit two reactor building ventilation system received an auto 1. solation signal and a signal to start the Standby Gas Treat: rent System.

Cecause of broken bolts on tbc Unit lwo inlet valve, the valve would not opan.

Tine systen trippcd f rom lo.: ficw because the prescat logic acts to close the inlet valvu cf the unit which data nut receive ti e auto ini tiation signal .

The auto initiation signal cleared and the Unit One train was restarted.

Until the logic is fur th2r stuJi::d r.nd mdified i f necessary, both inlet valves have been taken out of service in tha open position.

This occurrence was discussed by telepi:one wi th Mr. idiop of your of fice on iby 23,1975 Further infor.r.ation will be provided by Abnorr.:al Occurrence Report AD 50-265/75-13 uhich will be submitted within 10 days of th2 date of this occurrence.
