With Unit 2 in the Cold Shutdown condition during a scheduled Core Maintenance Outage, an inspection revealed that a pipe' crack had occurred on feedwater flush e
line 2-3206B-4"-C at the point where it taps into main feedwater line 2-3204B-18"-C.
f The resulting minor leakage to the steam tunnel has not af fected reactor inven-
!i tory, and repairs are being initiated.
This occurrence was discussed with Mr. Felerabend of your office on October 7,
