Dear Mr. Keppler:

The purpose of this letter is to provide you with notification of an Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Spe cification 6.6.B.1.a within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence.

On October 14, 1975 while performing routine quarterly calibra-tion of the high drywell pressure s cram swit ches, two of them were found in the isolated condition.

The system would have performed its function because one isolated switch was contained in each trip channel.

The other two switches were always operable and their trip points were within limits.

This occurrence was discussed by telephone with Mr. Feierabend of your office on October 15, 1975.

Further info rmation will be provided by Abnormal Occurrence Report A0_50-2p /75-2_1 which will be submitted within 10 days of the date of this occurrence.
