Dear Mr. Keppler:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with notification of an Abnormal Occurrence as required by Technical Specification 6.6.3.1.a wi thin 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of the occurrence.
While in the process of trouble shooting an isolation of the Unit Two HPCI turbine 4 of the 16 HPCI area high temperature switches tripped at values in excess of their limits.
The others were wi thin limi ts.
All were calibrated and ' functionally tested.
This occurrence was discussed by telephone with Mr. Knop of your office on July 31, 1975 Further information will be provided by Abnormal Occurrence Report No. A0 50-265/75-29 which will be submitted within 10 days of the date of this occurrence.
