Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Unit 2 January 1 through January 31,1998 Narrative Summary of Operatina Experience 1 Unit 2 began the month of January at a nominal 0 % of rated thermal power (RTP), due to EHC Secondary Pressure Amphfier Repair.
;                                                                            Power was raised to 92% by January 4, at 1900 hours.
Due to problems with EHC load set, power remained between 80% and 96%
On January 6"' at 0500 hours, a circulating pump trip resulted in power being reduced to 54%
On January 8 at 1600 hours, power was raised to 100%
On January 8 at 1900 hours, power was reduced to 03% for a rod pattern adjustment.
On January 9 at 0500 hours, the Unit was raised to 100%
On January 14 at 1300 hours power was reduced to 07% due to a circulating water pump discharge ve!ve problem. The Unit returned to 100% on January 16 at 1800 hours.
On January 30 at 1500 hours, power was reduced to 94% to repair the circulating water pump discharge valve.
On January 31 at 2200 hours, power was returned to 100%
