PEACH COTTOM ATOMIC POWER STATION NRC MONTHLY OPERATIONS

SUMMARY

January 1996 l

UNIT 2 Unit 2 began the month of January at 100% power. A rod pattem adjustment was performed late on January 4. Power level was lowered to approximately 55%. The unit recovered to 100% early on January 6. Another rod pattern adjustment was performed on January 19. Power level was lowered to approximately 75% and returned to 100% that same day. On January 20 high river level and flow required a load drop to approximately 50% power. Power returned to 100% on January 22 and remined at that level for the rest of the month.

UNIT 3 Unit 3 began the month of January at 100% power. The unit operated at 100% power until January 20 when high river level and flow required a load drop to approximately 50% power. Power returned to 100% on January 22 and remained at that level for the rest of the month.
