PEACH GOTTOM ATOMIC POWER STATION i

i NRC MONTHLY OPERATIONS

SUMMARY

JUNE 1997 i

l UNIT 2 Unit 2 began the month at 100% power. On 6/27 a smallload dropped occurred due to a rod pattern adjustment and then returned to 100% power on 6/28. The unit remained at 100% for the remainder of the month.

Unit 2 Net Generation for month was 802,322 MWH.

UNIT 3 Unit 3 began the month at 96% power due to coastdown (all rods out). After the fifth feedwater heater was removed from service on 6/3, the unit reached 100% power on 6/5 (and remained at 100% until 6/9).

Between 6/13 and 6/14 an unplanned load drop occurred due to 3B RFPT speed control system trouble.

During the remainder of the month the unit continued coastdown.

Unit 3 Net Generatan for month was 741,128 MWH.
