2. Report Date: 11 April 1977
3. Occurrence Date: 18-19 March 1977 .

- 4. Identification of occurrence:

Biomass of fish and shellfish impinged on the intake screens of Units 1, 2, end 3 exceeded the 50kg/24hr. reporting level of Section 3.1.3 of the Environmental Technical Specifications.

5. Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

All water circulation pumps running normally.

6. DescriptAon of Occurrence:

During the period 1000, March 18,1977 to 1000, March 19,1977, 67.27kg of fish and shellfish were impinged on the intake screens of Crystal River Units 1, 2, and 3. Of the 67.27kg impinged, Unit 3 accounted for 30.47kg (45% of total) . Two commercially unimportant species, the batfish and the cowfish accounted for 43.34kg (64% of total).
