Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
A report was made to Mr. Howard Wong at the Nuclear Operations Center in Bethesda, Maryland, on November 7, 1981, at 1245, and a confirming telecopy was sent to you' on November 9,1981, concerning the following event:
i At 2020 on November 6, 1981, while switching from Decay Heat Renn al on "B" Train to "A" Train, approximately 800 gallons of vater from the Borated Water Storage Tank overfilled the Reactor Coolant System and spilled water on'the Reactor Building floor.
It was determined, at the time, that this event was reportable under the
- Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 20.403(b)(4).
It has since been determined that the regulation was not exceeded. Therefore, no-i licensee event will be submitted.
