At 1030 on October 27, 1981, notification was received that a potential high energy pipe whip and/or jet impingement could cause a possible loss of safety-related sy stems and/or co:sponents.
The taain steam lines supplying the turbine driven emergency feedwater pump have not been considered for Eigh Energy Line Break Outside Contain-ment (HELBOC).
Based on this notification, it was determined that this concern warrants reporting under Technical Specification 6.9.1.8.1.
There was no effect upon the health or safety of the general public.
