This refers to the routine, announced, safety inspection of ..tivities
authorized by License No. DPR-16 Conducted by C. Amato and E. Fox of this
office on September 29, 1988 at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station,
Forked River, New Jersey, and to discussion -' these findings by Mr. Amato
with you at the conclusion of the inspection.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection
consisted of selective examination of procedures and records and interviews
with personnel by the inspectors.
Based on the results of this inspection, Notice of Violation 50-219/88-06-02
is withdrawn.
