Mr. Elmo Collins for the period June'10,1990, through July 11,1990, at the

Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station. The inspection consisted of observa-
tion of activities, document reviews, and personnel interviews. The enclosed
report documents the inspection results.
Inspectors discussed the findings
with you and members of your staff after the inspection.

A lack of periodic and preventive maintenance led to a degraded control rod

drive hydraulic system such that considerable maintenance and engineering
effort were necessary to correct control rod stroke times.
