. Section 1.4.7 was revised to neflect the actual number of armed guards assigned to the Armed Response
- force. 'Ihe number of security officers assigned to the Armed Response force was reviewed and validated by the NRC during the NRC OSRE Evaluation that was conducted at Oyster Creek in June of 1994.
Implementing procedures have contained this number and actuct shift staffing has not been below this number since prior to the 1994 OSRE Evaluation. However, this number had not been incorporated into the OC Physical Security Plan. On January 28,1999, USNRC Region I Security inspector Gregory Smith
- contacted the Oyster Creek Security Manager and requested that the OC Security Plan be updated to reflect
. the number of armed responders used during the OSRE Evaluation.

Only the above changes were made. No changes were made to Enclosures 1.2 through 5.10. Therefore, Enclosures 1.2 through 5.10 have not been included in this submittal.
The changes are consistent with the requirements contained in 10-CFR-Part 73. In addition, the proposed
- changes have been discussed previously with NRC Region #1 Senior Security Specialist Gregory Smith.
