A routine safety inspection was cordv+M on June 27 - 30, 1989 by S. Sherbini
at the Oyster Creek Station. 'Ibe purpose of the inspection was to review

selected aspects of the radiological controls swtam on site. Areas imSw+M'
were limited to a review of the organization and staffing of the Radiological.
Controls Department on site and the qualifications of the staff in that
department.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified. However,
scrae items of concern were noted, particularly in the area of appoint 2nents to
technical and supervisory positionc and the training s wtans to maintain and
qpgrade penwasl qualifications. One item relating to Technical Specifications
' qualifications requirements remains unresolved. Details are provided in the
