EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION - OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION This letter confirms the dates of March 24 to 27,1986, for the NRC equipment qualification (EQ) inspection at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station. These dates were established during previous telephone conversations with your staff by Mr. J. C. Anderson, NRC Region I. The inspection will take place at your corporate offices and the plant site.
A management entrance meeting is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. on March 24, 1986, at your corporate offices. A management exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on March 27, 1986, also at the corporate nffices. A plant walkdown inspection of equipment is tentatively planned for March 25, 1986.
We will further contact your staff by telephone to address the logistics of the inspection.
The inspection will include the following:
- 1. Review of your implementation of a 10 CFD 50.49 program including preservation of the qualified status of qualified equip... ant.
- 2. Review of your implementation of Technical Evaluation Peport/ Safety Evaluation Report EQ corrective action commitments.
- 3. Review of EQ documentation files.
- 4. Physical inspection of selected equipment.
