Conditions Prior to Deviation:

Unit 2 Reactor at 100X power, Unit 3 Reactor shutdown.

1 Designation of Aoparent Cause of Deviation: -

Investigation revealed that the lower outboard sectionof the screen was badly plugged with pebbles and debris. The center outboard screen section was found-to have its screen fabric partially pulled _

from its channel. The upper outboard . inshore screen fabric also showed _

some' sign of distress.
