February 12, 1980 (GM-568); and April 17,1980 (GM-601), we submit the following for your information-Attached is a sketch of additional wellpoint dewatering systems required to dewater backfill to the east and west of the existing powerblock structures.
Site conditions favor this installation instead of the ditch system earlier discussed.
1 A ditch system will be installed at the approximate toe of all newly created slopes that extend to the marl.
Installation, operation, and monitoring of the new wellpoints systems will be in accordance with car commitments to the NRC.
Installation of the system to the east is scheduled to begin May 1,1980, with operation scheduled for May 7,1980.
It is anticipated that the additional systems will be operated approximately six months.
We trust you will find these additional steps in keeping with our overal: commit-ments on this matter.
