SPECIAL REPORT FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM IMPAIRMENTS REQUIRING NRC NOTIFICATION PURPOSE:

Technical Specification (TS) 3.14.5.b requires the submission of a report to the NRC penetration is not returned if a non-functional fire barrier to functional status within 7 days. TS 3.14 also states that certain other conditions require NRC notification. In accordance with the above requirements, this special report is being generated in order to notify the NRC.

EVENT:

See attached list for Fire Protection Impairments (FPI) being reported.

CAUSE AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS FPIs 3438, 3446, 3459, 3462 and 3463 were issued for support of backfit construction work. Turkey Point continues to implement the compensatory measures as applicable.
