iS SPECIAL REPORT FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM IMPAIRMENTS REQUIRING NRC NOTIFICATION I

PURPOSE:

Technical Specification (TS) 3.14.5.b requires the submission of a report 'to the NRC if a non-functional fire barrier penetration is not returned to functional status within 7 days. TS 3.14 also states that certain other conditions require NRC notification. In accordance with the above requirements, this special report is being generated in order to notify the NRC. Please refer to the attached list of new Fire Protection Impairments (FPI) being reported.

CAUSE AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:

FPI 3393 was issued for the installation of conduits. FPI 3397 was issued for the replacement of a door frame. The plant continues to implement the compensatory measures as applicable.

STATUS UPDATE:

Please refer to the attached that list of Fire Protection Impairments were previously reported and are now closed.
