SPECIAL REPORT FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM IMPAIRMENTS REQUIRING NRC NOTIFICATION E

PURPOSE:

Technical Specification (TS) 3.14.5.b requires the submission of a report to the NRC if a non-functional fire barrier penetration is not returned to functional status within 7 days.'S 3.14 also states that certain other conditions require NRC notification.

with the above requirements, this special report is Zn'ccordance being generated in order to notify the NRC. Please refer to the attached list of Fire Protection Impairments (FPI) being reported.

CAUSE AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS:

FPI 3366 was issued for the removal and repair of fireproofing impaired for the installation of a support. FPI 3354 is for an impaired fire detector. FPZ's 3311, 3312, 3352, 3353, and 3362 were issued for the installation of conduits. FPI 3314 was issued for the support of planned maintenance work. The plant continues to implement the compensatory measures as applicable.
