SPECIAL REP RT FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM ZMPAZRMENTS REQUIRING NRC NOTIFICATION PURPOSE:
Technical Specification (TS) 3.14.5.b requires the submission of a report to the NRC if a non-functional fire barrier penetration is not returned to functional status within 7
days.
TS 3.14 also states that certain other conditions require NRC notification.
In accordance with the above requirements, this special report is being generated in order to notify the NRC.
EVENT
'ee attached list for Fire Protection Impairments (FPI) being reported.
CAUSE AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS'PI 3017 was issued for the installation of a conduit in a
barrier.
FPI 3008 was issued for the repair of a penetration seal.
The remaining FPI's were issued for access to areas where work is currently being performed.
The plant continues to implement the compensatory measures as applicable.
STATUS UPDATE:
See attached list for Fire Protection. Impairments that were previously reported and are now closed.
