Dear Mr. Denton:

Georgia Power Company, acting on its own behalf and as agent for Oglethorpe Power Corporation, Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia, and the City of Dalton, Georgia, hereby submits Amendment 11 to the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).

This amendment consists of revised pages for the FSAR and provides responses to NRC questions discussed in a meeting with the Instrumentation and Control Systems Branch on August 27-30, 1984 and to Ms. Adensam's letter dated September 28, 1984, (attachment I lists additional changes). These additional changes are a result of the NRC review process or were identified' as "laters" in previous amendment submittals. Also, instructions for '

inserting this material are included.

In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.30 (b) and (c), three (3) signed originals and sixty (60) copies of Amendment 10 are submitted" for your use.
