Dear Mr. Keppler:

On January 12, 1979, a Secondary Containment Leak Rate Test was performed on the combined reactor building volumes of Quad-Cities Station Units 1 an'd 2. In accordance with the requirements of Section 6.6, Table 6.6-1 of the Technical Specifications, a summary report of that test is enclosed.

The test report indicates that the standby gas treatment system is capable of maintaining 1/4 inch of water vacuum in the secondary containment building under calm wind conditions with a flow rate of no more than 4000 cfm.
