comments are limited to the event describcd at Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, Unit 2, and do not address the events described at Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2, or the James A.

Comments on Draft Information Notice April 22,1999 Comments: -

Quad Cities Unit 2 Pace 1. Paracranh 1: I Original Sentence: On February 24,1999, Quad Cities Unit 2 was in cold shutdown with t eactor water temperature at about 144 degrets F and reactor water level in a band of 90 to 94 inches indicated level (normal level during operations is 30 inches indicated or about 173 inches above the top of active fuel [TAF]).

Change sentence to read: On February 24,1999, Quad Cities Unit 2 was in cold shutdown with reactor water temperature at about 131 degrees F and reactor water level at 80 inches indicated level (normal level during operations is 30 inches indicated or about 173 mehes above the top of active fuel [TAF]).

Original Sentence: Core cooling was being maintained in a band...hy the "A" Loop of the residual heat removal (RHR) mode of shutdown cooling, after being switched from..12:32 a.m.
