BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - PURCHASE REQUESTS WITHOUT IEEE QUALIFICATIONS SPECIFIED - NCR BNP THIRD INTERIM REPORT The subject condition was initially reported to NRC-OE Inspector L. E. Foster on November 25, 1977. Interim reports were submitted on December 15, 1977, and June 30, 1978. Enclosed is our third interim report. We expect to submit our next written report by March 8, 1979.

ENCLOSURE BELLEFONTE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 PURCHASE REQUESTS ISSUED WITHOUT IEEE QUALIFICATIONS SPECIFIED NCR BNP-7 THIRD INTERIM REPORT Interim Progress Affected procurement requests for process flow equipment have been revised and sent to the respective vendors for assurance that the equipment does meet IEEE Class IE standards. TVA is continuing its investigation into the qualification of HVAC equipment that has been affected by this nonconformance. TVA will propose a corrective action upon receipt of this information.
