U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission December 16, 1987 Page Two Recently, RTS was awarded three NRC contracts (outlined below). The award of these contracts provides many major advantages to the NRC, one of which is that RTS has access to a large source of highly qualified personnel in a variety of fields with no existing conflicts of interest.

As indicated above, I have included for your review the summary sheets from our proposal which outline personne 1 being proposed, their disciplines, qualifications, and educational backg1ounds.

1.

Providing technical assistance in developing and implementing programs and procedures for reactors requiring special inspection resources (NRC-03-87-119-03).

Dollar value $3,066,035 (8/28/87 -

l 8/27/90) presently allocated funds of $59,000.

1 2.

Specialized technical training in Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) training (NRC-26-87-416).

Dollar value $207,211 (8/20/87 -

8/19/90) presently allocated funds of $30,000.

3.

Specialized technical training in Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) training (NRC-26-87-417).

Dollar value $207,211 (8/20/87 -

8/19/90) presently allocated funds of $30,000.

Mr. Dan Ford will administrate and participate on various tesk orders of NRC contract #03-87-119-03.

In Mr. Ford's absence, Mr. James McCrary will handle the administrative functions.

Mr. Dan Ford has been with RTS since April of 1982 and has been heavily involved with many of the services mentioned above.

Very truly yours,

^
