ISSUANCE OF AMENDt!ENT( TAC h0. 69417)

The Cc<rraission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.109 to facility Operating License No. DPR-61 for the Haddam Neck Plant, in response to your application dated September 13, 1988.

The amendment revises Table 3.22-2, "Fire Detection Instruments," by reducing the nunber of sr.oke detectors available in the contaiteent from 23 to 22 and incorporating a new section of sprinkler protection in the turbine building into Technical Specification Section 3.??G., "Spray and/or Sprinkler Systems."

A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The Notice of Issuance will be included in the Comission's bi-weekly Federal Register notico.
