l Georgia Power Company, acting on its own behalf and as agent for Oglethorpe Power Corporation Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia, and the City of l Dalton, Georgia, hereby submits Amendment 5 to its Application for Operating Licenses for the Vogtle Electric Cenerating Plant - Units 1 and 2.

i i This Amendment consists of revised pages for the Final Safety Analysis Report and provides responses to NRC questions transmitted in Ms. Adensan's letters dated January 23, 1984 and January 26, 1984. Substantive changes which were not a result of these letters are tabulated in Attachment 1 to this letter.

Also,' instructions for inserting this material are included. As noted in this amendment, the response to question 491.2 contains Westinghouse pro-

' prietary information and as such, the responne is being sent under separate cover.
