Funding authorization in the anount of $75,000 to begin work on this subject project was transmitted on April 3, 1984; $156,000 on August 28, 1984; and S29,000 was transmitted en Septenber 12, 1984. The purpose of this letter is to retroactively extend the period of performance to April 15, 1985. 1. Revise Reporting Requirements as follows:

6.1 Technical Reports . Upon completion of Task 3, LLNL will formally submit a draft final report covering Tasks 1,,2, and 3 at defined in Task 3. Upon completion of Task 4, LLNL will submit the final report by April 15, 1985, which takes into account industry and NRC comments. Upon completion of Task 5, LLNL will submit questions for forwardi7g to the licensee.
