SEABROOK REPORTS The purpose of this memorandum is to confirm the schedule for the issuance of FEMA's findings and determinations on the offsite emergency plans for Seabrook. i As agreed to in staff discussions and in the prehearing conference of August 3 and 4, 1988, the FEMA report of the full participation exercise conducted on June 28 and 29, 1988, was issued on September 2, 1988. Further, in accordance with the agreed to schedule, the FEMA finoings resulting from the review of the utility prepared Seabrook Plan for Massachusetts Communities .

(SPMC) will be issued on October 14, 1988. The exercise and SPMC report  !

dates are a change from the November 1, 1988 date (120 days following the exercise) referred to in my memorandum to you on June 3, 1988 We understand that the FDiA plan review report on October 14, 1988 will present FEMA's fi'1 dings on the SPMC review only and will not include FEMA's findings on the re?iew of the emergency plans for New Hampshire and Maine.

These findings will lie provided at a later date on a schedule to be established in discussions between our respectivc staffs.

! their efforts in issuing the Seabrook exercise and SPMC reports on an

! expedited basis.
