Subject: Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP)
A meeting to discuss the SALP assessment of the performance of your Rancho
Seco facility was held on September 16, 1985, at the Region V Office in Walnut
Creek, California. The evaluations presented in the SALP Board report,
forwarded to you by letter of September 9, 1985, were discussed with members
of your staff to emphasize weaknesses and strengths in certain functional
areas.
Several typographical and editorial errors in the SALP Board report were
identified during the meeting and are corrected by the attached errata sheets.
Your written response to the SALP assessment in requested by October 16, 1985,
including comments and amplifications on the SALP Board report, and corrective
actions to be taken in functional areas rated Category 3.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in
the NRC's Public Document Room, as will your response regarding the SALP
assessment.
