Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Shuthwn Cooling Loop A Declared Inoperable to Replace Discharge Check Valve LER 83-009/03 L-0 AECM-83/71 On January 1, 1983, with the plant in cold shutdown, Shutdown Cooling Loop A was declared inoperable in order to replace a discharge check valve.
Both shutdown cooling loops are required to be operable by Technical Specification 3.4.9.2. The event is reported pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.13.b. Attached is LER 83-009/03 L-0. .
