SUBJECT: Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Smoke Detector Covered to Prevent Actuation During Welding Activities LER 83-040/03 L-0 AECM-83/0125 On January 27, 1983, a smoke detector was covered in the Auxiliary Building to prevent actuation while performing welding activities. This required entering the action statement of Technical Specification 3.3.7.9 and is being reported pursuant tc. Technical Specification 6.9.1.13.b.
