Our letter dated June 25, 1986, partially responded to concerns in your June 9,1986 letter regarding Invoice No. E0562 for certification examinations conducted on the SNUPPS-I Simulator for the six-month period that ended June 22, 1985. You requested a detailed breakdown of the 327.8 hours9.259259e-5 days <br />0.00222 hours <br />1.322751e-5 weeks <br />3.044e-6 months <br /> and raised concerns that some of the Zion Station examinations done at the Westinghouse Zion simulator for Commonwealth Edison might have been erroneously charged to your Corporation.

The NRC examining staff have reviewed the time charged to you for examinations at your Zion simulators. Based on this review, it has been found that a total of 336.3 hours3.472222e-5 days <br />8.333333e-4 hours <br />4.960317e-6 weeks <br />1.1415e-6 months <br /> were expended and not 327.8 hours9.259259e-5 days <br />0.00222 hours <br />1.322751e-5 weeks <br />3.044e-6 months <br />. Of these hours, 93.3 hours3.472222e-5 days <br />8.333333e-4 hours <br />4.960317e-6 weeks <br />1.1415e-6 months <br /> were for Comonwealth for their Zion Station examinations; 243 hours0.00281 days <br />0.0675 hours <br />4.017857e-4 weeks <br />9.24615e-5 months <br /> were for you and relate to the SNUPPS-I (212.5 hours5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br />) and Zion (30.5 hours5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br />) simulators. Therefore, enclosed is an invoice to correct the error for the 93.3 hours3.472222e-5 days <br />8.333333e-4 hours <br />4.960317e-6 weeks <br />1.1415e-6 months <br /> that were previously billed to you (in lieu of the Commonwealth Edison Company) under Invoice No. E0562 on March 18, 1986, as part of the $27,341 SNUPPS-I charges.

The total on the new invoice is $22,847 (243 hours0.00281 days <br />0.0675 hours <br />4.017857e-4 weeks <br />9.24615e-5 months <br /> 0 $53 per hour and

$9,968 in contractual costs). The enclosed pages 1 and 2 of a July 15, 1986 computer run provide the detailed breakdown for the hours.

While our letter of June 25, 1986, stated that payment would be due within fifteen days after your receipt of this invoice, note that we have provided 30 days for payment of the corrected amount on the new invoice. If payment is not received by us within thirty days from the

' date of the invoice, interest charges will accrue from the date'of the invoice; penalty charges will be assessed after the bill has been delinquent (4 CFR 101.2(b)) for more than ninety days.

We regret the error in our previous invoice.
