BOMB THREAT A bomb threat was received by telephone at the Stone and Webster switchboard at 11:00 p.m., 8/22/76. The voice was identified at that of a young male and stated that a bomb would explode at the plant at 11:15 p.m.

A search was initiated and nothing was found. Local and state law W enforcement officials were notified, along with the FBI. Two

( ~~ y similar bomb threats have been redeived at the North Anna station i,

in 1976.

A press release is not planned by the licensee c,r NRC.

OIE received notification of this occurrence by telephone from the North Anna Plant Manager, at 12:50 p.m., 8/23/76. 7 IAT was notified at 1:50 p.m. on 8/23/76.
