j In accordance with the monitorinc and reporting requirements of the

't subject order, please find attached a summary of the Water Quality

] Monitoring Program at the Rancho Seco Facility .for March, 1986.

j Addit.onal comments are as follows:

1

1. Rancho Seco has been shut down since December 26 due to a loss 2

of power to the Integrated Control System.

, 2. Maximum was'te water flow rate was 9,900 gpm for one hour on  !

March 19. '

i 3. Waste water discharges amounted to 169.2 M gallons.

I- 4 Maximum TDS in waste water discharge was 310 ppm, based on -

conductivity which occurred during a retention basin release l on March 31.

J l 5. Flow through the new sewage plant averaged 22,288 gpd for the j month of March.

6. The new sewage plant was put into operation November 30 and is

! still in a testing mode. All sewage flow is processed through 4

the new plant.

7. The visual inspections of the site boundary have not indicated any floating or suspended matter, discoloration, or bottom deposits. Aquatic life appears to be normal, lI e
