As required by the Rancho Seco Decommissioning Order, we are submitting the biennial l update to the Rancho Seco Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report (PSDAR). l The NRC approved the Rancho Seco Decommissioning Plan on March 20,1995, and l under the current 10 CFR 50.82 requirements, the document is now the Rancho Seco PSDAR.

In addition to the PSDAR, we have included the associated 10 CFR 50.59 determination, which evaluates the changes made to revise the Decommissioning Plan to conform to the PSDAR content requirements specified in 10 CFR 50.82. Information contained in the Decommissioning Plan that is not required to be in the PSDAR has been removed; however, the basic decommissioning strategy remains the same. g As discussed in the 10 CFR 50.59 determination, certain information removed from the Decommissioning Plan, including the decommissioning accident analysis, will be retained f in the Decommissioning Safety Analysis Report. Also, the 10 CFR 50.59 determination ,/
