This Special Report is submitted in accordance with LaSalle Unit 1 Operatino License NPF-11, Appendix A, Technical Specification 3.7.5.1 and 6.6.c.
On August 27, 1983, the OA Diesel Fire Pump was being operated as a prerequisite for the EPR (Emergency Power Redundancy) test. While running, the cooling line for the right angle drive broke causing the diesel to be shut down and declared ;
