Operating License Nr DPR-50 T A D'y' Non-Routine Seven-Day Environmutal Report 75-03 1(!

In accordance with Section 5.6.2b.3 of the Environmental Technical Specifications for our Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 (TMI-1) we are submitting notification of a measured level of radioactive material which exceeded ten times the control value for monthly composites of weekly grab samples for two surface water sampling locations. These cceposite sampler represent the period from August 2, through August 30, 1975 We would like to point out that at no time was the health and safety of the rublic threatened by the radiological condition of the river as indicated by this samule in that:

1. The level of radioactivity associated with these samples was less than 0.1% of the maximts permissible concentration limit stated in 10 CFR 20 for members of the public, and
2. None of the TMI-l Technical Specification limits were exceeded. (App. A)

We trust that this report satisfies the reporting requirements referenced above and adequately answere any concerns you =sy have.
