Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1. (TMI-1)-
Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 OTSG Tubes' Post Inservice' Inspection Report For Refueling Interval BR Technical Specification section 4.19.5.a requires reporting to the NRC, within-15 days following the completion of each inservice inspection of steam.
generator tubes, the number of tubes repaired or removed from service in each steam generator.
During the current refueling interval _8R eddy current inspection,- a total of _
4 eight.(8) tubes' were removed from service by plugging. - Specifically, five.-(5) i tubes were plugged in' steam generator "A", and three-(3) tubes were plugged in-steam generator "B".
The. plugging was completed on February 16, 1990.
Since fabrication, a total of 1265 tubes have.been removed from service in steam generator "A", and 3?O tubes in steam generator"B".
This letter fulfills the requirements of 'the above cited Technical Specification Section.
