I Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.4(b)(1), enclosed is TMI-l Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR)
No. 265. The purpose of this TSCR is to modify the conditions which allow a reduction in the number of means for maintaining decay heat removal capability during shutdown conditions.
Using the standards in 10 CFR 50.92, GPU Nuclear has concluded that these proposed changes do not constitute a significant hazards consideration, as described in the enclosed analysis performed in i
accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(a)(1). Also enclosed is a Certificate of Service for this request, l
certifying service to the chief executives of the township and county in which the facilities are located, I
as well as the designated official of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Bureau of Radiation Protect'on.
