For Unscheduled Dutage 8U-1 Technical Specification section 4.19.5.a requires reporting to the NRC, within 15 days following the completion of each inservice inspection of steam generator tubes, the number of tubes repaired or removed from service in each j
During the recent unscheduled 8U-1 outage, an eddy current inspection of the DTSG "A" Lane Wedge Area tubes was conducted.
As a result of this inspection, two (2) tubes were removed from service by plugging. The plugging was completed on March 11, 1990.

The scope of this inspection was in accordance with the temporary " Waiver of i
Compliance" from Technical Specification 4.19.3.c. granted by the NRC on l
March 14, 1990.
Since f abrication, a total of 1267 tubes have been removed l
from service in steam generator "A", and 370 tubes in steam generator"B".
