Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 10 CFR 50.46 Final Report on Significant PCT Change in ECCS Analyses Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.46 (a)(3)(ii), this letter provides as Attachment I, the Framatome Technologies, Incorporated (FTI) TMI-1 ECCS revised analyses for large break (LBLOCA) and small break (SBLOCA) loss of coolant accident transients, which corrects the evaluation model for the Mk-B9 non-mixing vane grid previously reported in the GPU Nuclear letter to the NRC dated June 4,1999. These revised analyses have been performed for TMI-I and model steam generator tube plugging levels up to 20%. It is noted that the MK-B9 LOCA linear heat rate limits provided in Attachment I are bounded by the more conservative MK-B9 limits used in the reload analysis for the current operating cycle at TMI-1.
The results of the analyses demonstrate TMI-l compliance with the criteria of 10 CFR 50.46.
