Consent to Confirmatory Order Modifying License No. DPR-50, Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit No. I NRC letter to GPU Nuclear dated June 21,1999 requested GPU Nuclear consent to incorporate the TMI-l Thermo-Lag fire barrier final corrective action completion schedule commitment of June 30,2000, as described in GPU Nuclear letter dated June 2,1999, into a Confirmatory Order 3,/
Modifying License. Accordingly, GPU Nuclear is transmitting the enclosed signed agreement as proposed in the above referenced NRC letter. GPU Nuclear has agreed to waive its hearing rights on all or any part of the Order.

I, James W. Langenbach, Vice President and Director, GPU Nuclear, Inc., Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit No.1, hereby agree on behalf of GPU Nuclear, Inc., et al., that GPU Nuclear, Inc., et al. will comply with the following commitment:
GPU Nuclear, Inc., et al. shall complete final implementation of Thermo-Lag 330-1 fire barrier corrective actions at Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit No.1, described in the GPU Nuclear, Inc., submittal to the NRC dated June 2,1999, by June 30,2000.
GPU Nuclear, Inc., also agrees to incorporating this commitment into a Confmnatory Order j
Modifying License (Order) that will be effective immediately upon issuance. I recognize that by i
signing below, GPU Nuclear, Inc., et al. consents to the issuance of an immediately effective Order incorporating the above commitment and, by doing so, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.202(a)(3), GPU Nuclear. Inc., et al. will not have a right to request a hearing on all or any part of this Order.
