Dear Sirs:
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District hereby submits Licensee Event Report Number 87-06 Revision 3 which updates the status of the affected valves.
Previously, the District committed to provide updates to LER 87-06 " Motor Operated Valven" assessing the safety consequences l during power operation of the "as found" configuration.
With this revision to the LER, the District is changing its j commitment. The MOV final report will now address the assessment '
of the - safety conseque.ncen for the as found configuration. The final report will be nubmitted within 60 days of completion of the MOV refurbishment program or January 14, 1988, whichever is sooner, as required by IE Bulletin No. 85-03.
